ESPN The Weekend Detailed Schedule Screenshot Scan - Guide Map

ESPN The Weekend presented by Dick's Sporting Goods.
February 25-28, Thursday through Sunday at Holleywood Studios in Disney World in Orlando, FL.

I have gone 3 years now and got autographs from big names every time. They key is to go to the Q&A sessions because at the end of the sessions many of the athletes and ESPN personalities will sign autographs and there is usually only 40 or 50 people there to get autographs so it is relatively easy to get an autograph from those that stick around to sign. Not everyone will stay though, some athletes, like Curt Schilling last year, will bolt the second the session is over. However last year I was able to get Jim Palmer, Dennis Eckersley, John Kruk, Carlos Lee, John Franco, Tom Glavine and more.

Also another great spot is under the Sorcerers hat around the time they do live tapings and interviews. Some players will sign as they walk up to the stage or while they're waiting their turn. Most of the time though they hide out so you cannot access them. It is really a matter of making sure you're at the right side of the ropes at the right time.

There are other ways to get players autograph, my friend got Rickey Henderson last year as he came out of The Tower of Terror. So really its just a matter of running around and waiting and hoping. However it is very possible and with all the big names you can get some good ones.

Below are scans of the detailed schedule including what athletes will be at ESPN The Weekend on which days Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I do not have info for Thursday (today).

  1. If you have any other questions about the weekend please feel free to ask and I'll try to answer. I will be there myself Sunday as I feel this is the best day to get autographs of baseball players.

  2. This year I did okay. I was able to get autographs from Jim Palmer, John Kruk, Bobby Valentine, Thurman Thomas and Steve Spurrior. I was pretty close to getting Andre Daweson's autograph but he had to leave. I would have got Chad Ochocinco's autograph had I not left the spot I was in. Overall I think I coulda done better but I guess I shouldn't complain too much.
